We recommend placing your order 2 to 3 weeks in advance to ensure your preferred pickup or delivery date is available. However, we do accept orders with as little as 3 days' notice, subject to availability.

Yes! Please let us know as soon as possible if you need to make changes. We’ll do our best to accommodate, depending on timing & complexity.

Not quite! Your order is confirmed once we finalize the details and receive your payment (either full or 50% deposit).

Orders canceled at least 7 days prior to the scheduled pickup or delivery date are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled pickup or delivery date are nonrefundable.

If your preferred date is already taken, we’ll work with you to find the next best available date or suggest alternative options.

We accept Venmo, Zelle, Apple Pay, PayPal, & cash.

Once your order details are confirmed, we’ll send a payment request through your preferred payment method. You can pay in full or put down a 50% deposit, with the remainder due at pick-up.
If you are paying in cash, the full amount will be due at pick-up.

We meet clients outside The Westlake Market at 96 Redbud Trail. This is our only pick-up location at the moment.

We’ll reach out the day before your order to coordinate a convenient pick-up time. If you have a preferred time when placing your order, let us know and we’ll make a note of it.

Cake Care

When picking up your cake, make sure your car’s air conditioning is on to keep it chilled. Lay the cake flat on the car floor, either in the front or back seat. If you place the cake in the trunk, secure it so it does not move during transport—for example, using cable ties or another stable method.

Before pickup, make sure you have space in your fridge. Store the cake in the fridge until 2-4 hours before serving, or until it reaches room temperature. Cover the cake with plastic wrap or place it in a container to keep it fresh. The cake can be refrigerated for up to four days.

Once the cake is picked up, proper handling & storage become the customer’s responsibility. We are not responsible for damage caused by heat, improper transport, or storage after pickup.

Yes, the cake should be kept in the refrigerator to stay fresh and maintain its structure. Always store it covered or in a container to prevent it from drying out or absorbing other fridge odors. Remove the cake from the fridge 1–2 hours before serving to allow it to come to room temperature.

Not all decorations are edible. Some cakes include non-edible elements such as flowers, floral tape, toothpicks, wires, or support pieces. These should be removed before serving

If your cake includes fresh or decorative flowers, the stems may be wrapped with floral tape or supported with toothpicks or picks. These are not edible & must be removed before serving. Flowers are decorative only & should not be consumed.

If your cake includes bows or ribbons, they may contain wire to help hold their shape. Wire is not edible & must be completely removed before serving.

Cake leftovers should be stored in the refrigerator to maintain freshness. Cover any exposed areas with plastic wrap or place the cake in an airtight container to prevent it from drying out. Leftover cake can be refrigerated for up to four days. Before enjoying again, you may let slices sit at room temperature for a short time for the best texture & flavor.

Butter Days operates in a home kitchen where common allergens are regularly present, including, but not limited to, wheat, milk, eggs, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, coconut, and sesame.
Although every reasonable effort is made to minimize cross contact, Butter Days cannot guarantee that any product is completely free of allergens. Customers with severe or life threatening food allergies should not consume our products.
It is the customer's responsibility to notify Butter Days of any food allergies or dietary restrictions before placing an order. By purchasing and consuming our products, the customer acknowledges the risk of allergen exposure and agrees that Butter Days is not liable for allergic reactions, illness, injury, or any other adverse effects resulting from the consumption of our products.

Butter Days offers select gluten free menu items. However, all gluten free products are prepared in the same kitchen and with some of the same equipment used for products containing wheat.
Because of the possibility of cross contact, Butter Days cannot guarantee that any product is completely gluten free or safe for individuals with Celiac disease or severe gluten allergies.

Once your order has been picked up or delivered, proper storage and handling become the responsibility of the customer.
Unless otherwise instructed, cakes should be refrigerated until approximately 1 to 2 hours before serving to allow them to come to room temperature for the best flavor and texture.
Butter Days is not responsible for changes in appearance, texture, flavor, stability, or food safety resulting from improper storage, transportation, cutting, handling, display conditions, or failure to follow provided care instructions.
Cakes should not be left outdoors, in direct sunlight, in warm vehicles, or in environments with excessive heat or humidity.

The customer assumes full responsibility for the cake once it has been picked up by the customer or a designated representative.
Butter Days is not responsible for any damage that occurs after pickup, including damage caused during transportation, handling, setup, display, or storage.
Customers should transport cakes on a completely flat surface in an air conditioned vehicle. Cakes should never be placed on seats, laps, or uneven surfaces.
No refunds or replacements will be provided for damage occurring after pickup.

When delivery is purchased, Butter Days is responsible for the cake until it has been safely delivered to the agreed upon location and accepted by the customer, venue, or designated representative.
Once delivery has been completed, responsibility for the cake transfers to the customer or venue. Butter Days is not responsible for damage resulting from venue staff, guests, photographers, florists, planners, caterers, or any third party handling the cake.

Every Butter Days cake is individually handcrafted.
While inspiration photos are welcomed, Butter Days does not duplicate another artist's work. Inspiration images are used only as a reference.
Variations in color, texture, floral placement, piping, brushstrokes, fondant details, and overall design should be expected and are not considered defects.
Creative discretion may be exercised when necessary to achieve the highest quality final product.

Colors may appear differently in person than they do on digital screens due to differences in lighting, photography, editing, printing, and individual device settings.
Butter Days cannot guarantee an exact color match to inspiration photos, fabrics, invitations, flowers, or other materials.

Some cakes may include fresh flowers, greenery, ribbons, wooden dowels, support structures, floral tape, wires, toothpicks, acrylic toppers, or other decorative elements.
These items are not intended for consumption and should be removed before serving.
Although Butter Days takes reasonable precautions when preparing floral decorations, flowers are not considered food products, and Butter Days is not responsible for reactions related to pollen, naturally occurring plant compounds, pesticides, or florist handling.

Serving guides are estimates based on standard event serving recommendations.
Actual servings may vary depending on the size and style of slices cut by the customer or venue.
Butter Days cannot guarantee a specific number of servings.

Buttercream and other cake components are sensitive to heat, humidity, sunlight, wind, and environmental conditions.
Outdoor events, extended display times, and warm temperatures increase the risk of softening, leaning, sliding, or melting.
Butter Days is not responsible for damage caused by weather conditions or improper display environments after pickup or delivery.

Because each order is custom made specifically for your event, cancellations must be requested at least 7 days prior to the scheduled pickup or delivery date to receive a full refund.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before the scheduled pickup or delivery date are non refundable, as ingredients may have been purchased, preparation may have begun, and your event date has been reserved.
Changes to an order may not be possible once production has begun and are subject to availability and Butter Days' discretion.
No refunds, credits, or replacements will be issued for dissatisfaction based on:
Design preferences that fall within the agreed upon design concept
Minor artistic variations or color differences
Inspiration photos not being replicated exactly
Changes requested after final approval
Improper transportation, handling, setup, or storage
Damage occurring after pickup or after delivery has been accepted
Failure to follow the provided cake care instructions
In the unlikely event that Butter Days is unable to fulfill an order due to unforeseen circumstances, any payments made will be refunded in full. Butter Days' liability is limited to the total amount paid for the order.

Butter Days reserves the right to decline or cancel any order that cannot be completed safely, ethically, or within the business's quality standards.
Orders may also be declined due to scheduling limitations, unavailable materials, abusive or inappropriate customer behavior, or requests that conflict with Butter Days' artistic style or business policies.

Butter Days' maximum liability for any claim relating to an order shall not exceed the amount paid for that specific order.
Butter Days shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to lost event costs, emotional distress, inconvenience, travel expenses, replacement costs, or other related damages.
By placing an order, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these policies and assumes responsibility for compliance with all care, transportation, and serving instructions provided by Butter Days.
